ABOUT ME
I am a firm believer in the practice of hands-on learning, collaboration and team-building. I consider myself to be an extremely valuable team player. I am a collaborator, an idea generator, a detail obsessionist and someone who strives to achieve balance and well-being. Over the last few years, I have had the privilege to put these skills, and many others, to the test by working on competitions, new construction projects and renovation projects. These experiences allowed me to dive deeper into honing my design sensibilities and to grow immensely in my endeavor for life-long learning and professional development.
As a designer, I strive to author and design for empathy, excellence and integrity, no matter the prompt or scale. As a life-long learner, I challenge myself to question normative practices, conduct thorough research, and design with care for all scales. I love to test ideas, play with materials and rethink how things are usually done, while also having an appreciation for not reinventing the wheel when necessary. Having a background in interior architecture, I have a great sense and passion for details. I hope not only to be able to continue to grow this passion, but also mesh it with my love for big ideas. I am excited by the idea and application of critical practice within architecture and other design related fields. I am constantly curious about how we are taking charge in our processes in order to bridge gaps between theory and building and between exploration and innovation tactics.
